Fast turnaround for signs and printed materials
One of our superpowers at Kona Impact is a quick turnaround for projects. We have the following conversation weekly:
Caller: How long does it take to make a banner?
Kona Impact: Usually a day.
Caller: What? The last place I called said two weeks!
Kona Impact: They are probably outsourcing the work. We do all our banner printing in-house. Send us a file, and we’ll have it ready in 24 hours, maybe slightly less.
You can also substitute “banner” for coffee labels, basic signs, vehicle magnets, vehicle inspection numbers, and more.
How does Kona Impact have such a fast turnaround?
We always wanted to be known for fast project completion AND quality. We have invested heavily in having state-of-the-art printers (wide format and UV), a plotter/cutter, CNC machines, and a large laser machine to achieve those goals. We also have a whole room full of inventory. We also have two to three people working every business day, so our production capacity is high.
Ok, what’s the catch? Do you charge more for a one-day turnaround?
No, we hate rush fees and have never charged them. We do say, though, that it’s a one-day turnaround on many signs and printing projects from design approval. Many people do their design work on Canva or other design platforms. Get us an appropriate print-ready file; there’s a good chance it’ll be ready quickly. If you’d like to know if you can have your coffee labels or No Parking sign within one business day, call us at 808-329-6077.
If not next day turnaround, how long?
More complex projects take more time. We have a CNC shop to do metal or specialty cut PVC or wood signs that we utilize weekly so that a CNC sign can take a week or longer after design approval. Signs we install can take longer; we must schedule installs a week or two in advance. Depending on the design process and installation scheduling, vehicle or boat graphics can take a week or longer. The easiest way to find out is to ask, and we’ll be able to give you a good idea. If you have a deadline, let us know ASAP, and we’ll let you know if we can do your project in that timeline. If we can’t, we will tell you.
