Project Completed: Captain Cook Vacation Home

Sometime our job is easy.
Several years ago we made a website for a bikini wholesaler. He had professionally-done pictures of beautiful women on a beach in Hawaii in his bikinis. From day one, we knew that our task was to design a site that let the product pictures speak for themselves; that is, the design and navigation had to not get in the way of the product.
We just finished another project with a similar need. Captain Cook vacation home is a gorgeous, home rental near Kealakekua Bay. When the owner brought us the pictures, we smiled and knew that his property and surrounding area area a visual feast; simply put one of the most beautiful places in Hawaii, if not the world. The home and guest house are situated on 5 acres a few minutes walk from the Bay and the property itself is in immaculate condition. It’s high end all the way.
My favorites is the 50 ft lap pool, outdoor hot tub and white sand volleyball court. As an avid snorkeler and diver, I would relish the opportunity to be so close to what many call the most pristine and spectacular waters in Hawaii–Kealakekua Bay. For history buffs, this area, where Captain Cook met his demise, is rich with history. The property is a very short drive to Pu’uhonua o Honaunau/ “the Place of Refuge”, the cradle of lot of Hawaii’s history on the Hawaii Island. It’s also in the heart of the world-famous Kona coffee belt.
In the website business, we try to make everything look great, but it certainly helps when we are dealing with awesome source material.
Would I recommend this place to a visiting family or group? Absolutely, without reservation. It’s simply a great property in a great location.
