Readers of this blog might recall that we donated a new logo to the Konawaena football team last year. Simply put, we love football and were very impressed with what Coach Walters and his sons were doing with the program. As a “recovering” teacher myself I know how young adults can benefit from discipline, positive role models, and, of course, some on-the-field competition. We were glad to help.
This year we’ve decided to add bit to the mix by donating a lot of new signage to the school. We would love to show it all here, but, alas, we’re only going to show one sign and leave the rest for a nice unveil at the first game later this summer.
Kona Impact is always happy to help out in the community when we can. We live, work, and play here and we know how some strategic donations can help deserving people and organizations.
